A fully structured driving course covering everything from controls of the car to driving on all road types, including dual carriageways. You will master basic car control which will enable you to drive on public roads safely following the DSA approved syllabus. I will also guide you through various manoeuvres such as turn in the road, reversing around corners and parking. As you progress you will then learn to negotiate road hazards and blend in with other road users maintaining good progress whilst effectively looking out for danger and potential hazards. By the time you are ready for test I can assess you myself with a mock test conducted just like the real thing to ensure you are competent.

This course is aimed at current full licence holders who may not have driven for some time or maybe just want to update their sills or knowledge. After an initial informal discussion about what your requirements are I can then have a look at your driving via a short driving assessment to gauge and set out a plan of instruction to suit your specific needs and help you achieve your own personal objective. I can cover as much or as little as you like, some people want to look at specific weak areas of driving, such as motorway driving or help with understanding complex junctions.
Refresher driving lessons - £22 per hour
After successfully passing the driving test, statistics show unfortunately that if you are aged below 25 you are more likely to be involved in a road traffic accident than other drivers who are older who may have more experience. As an incentive, some insurance companies will reward you with discounts on your motor insurance if you are prepared to further your knowledge and skills and gain more experience in new environments by choosing to do a Pass Plus course.
